Using the My Status Screen
Selecting your status

On any Yahoo! Messenger screen, press OPTION.
The Context menu appears.

Press / to select “My Status,” and then press the center
button.
The My Status screen appears.

Press / to select “Status,” and then press the center button.
The list of status options appears.

Press / to select an option, and then press the center button.

Press / to select “Save,” and then press the center button.
About My status
The following status options are available.
Icon Status
(Available) You appear online to your contacts.
(Status Message) The message you entered is displayed in the Status
Message box on your contacts’ units.
(Busy) You appear busy to your contacts.
(Stepped Out) “Stepped Out” is displayed in the Status Message box on
your contacts’ units.
(Be Right Back) “Be Right Back” is displayed in the Status Message box
on your contacts’ units.
(Not at My Desk) “ Not at My Desk” is displayed in the Status Message
box on your contacts’ units.
(On the Phone) “On the Phone” is displayed in the Status Message box
on your contacts’ units.
(Status Message
(Busy))
The message you entered is displayed in the Status
Message box on your contacts’ units.
(Invisible to
Everyone)
You are signed in to Yahoo! Messenger, but you
appear offline to your contacts.
