Notes on using a “Memory Stick Duo” (not supplied)

• Do not remove the “Memory Stick Duo” while reading or writing data.
• Data may be corrupted in the following cases:
– When the “Memory Stick Duo” is removed or this unit is turned off during

a read or write operation

– When the “Memory Stick Duo” is used in locations subject to static

electricity or electrical noise

• We recommend backing up important data.
• Do not press down hard when you write down on the memo area.
• Do not attach a label on the “Memory Stick Duo” itself nor on a Memory

Stick Duo Adaptor.

• When you carry or store the “Memory Stick Duo”, put it in the case supplied

with it.

• Do not touch the terminal section of the “Memory Stick Duo” with your

hand or a metal object.

• Do not strike, bend or drop the “Memory Stick Duo”.
• Do not disassemble or modify the “Memory Stick Duo”.
• Do not expose the “Memory Stick Duo” to water.
• Do not leave the “Memory Stick Duo” within the reach of small children.

They might accidentally swallow it.

• Do not use or store the “Memory Stick Duo” under the following conditions:
– High temperature locations such as the hot interior of a car parked in direct

sunlight

– Locations exposed to direct sunlight
– Humid locations or locations with corrosive substances present

“Memory Stick Duo” size is supported:

Standard-size “Memory Stick” cannot be used on this product, When you use
“Memory Stick Duo” on this product, please make sure to insert it in the right
direction.
“Memory Stick Duo” should be kept away from small children to prevent them
from accidentally swallowing it.

Notes on using “Memory Stick PRO Duo” (not supplied)

“Memory Stick PRO Duo” with a capacity up to 2 GB have been confirmed to
operate properly with this unit.
