To start playback from the first track of a playlist

After step

, above, select the playlist, and then press the jog lever (

).

Playback starts with the first track of the selected playlist and continues
through all tracks on the list.

To play the track that is the currently playing track of another unit

At step

, above, select “



’s Playing” (where



is the other user’s name),

and then press the center button. The currently playing track of the selected
user starts playing and continues until the selected user stops playing audio.
Your Music Streaming connection is maintained for three minutes after the
other user stops playing audio. If the other user begins playing audio again
within three minutes, playback continues on your unit. If the user does not
begin playing audio again within three minutes, the Music Streaming
connection with the user is disconnected.

To disconnect the current Music Streaming connection

The current Music Streaming connection is disconnected if;
– you select “End Connection,” and then press the center button.
– you select a different user on the Ad Hoc Contact screen.
– the owner of the playlist or track you are streaming selects another user on

his or her Ad Hoc Contact screen.

– you do not select “Music Streaming,” a playlist, or a track within three

minutes of connecting to another user.

Notes

• While streaming a track that is currently playing in other user’s unit, if the owner of the

track you are Music streaming stops playback, streaming sound on your unit stops.

• Navigating through an audio track by flicking the jog lever toward

or

does not

work while streaming audio that is currently playing in other user’s unit.

Sharing music on your unit for other users to stream

Other users can listen only to the audio files on your unit that is identified to
be shared.
To let other users stream audio files stored on your unit, you must select music
you want to share at “Select Shared Music” setting ( page 175).

On the Home menu, press

/ to select “Tools,” and then

press the center button.
