5.2.1.1.8 Article 15 CHARGES
15.1 Charges. Charges for SkypeOut services shall be calculated by multiplying the
duration of the call by the applicable tariff. The duration of a call shall be based
on one-minute increments. Fractions of minutes will be rounded up to the next
minute for every call 5 seconds or longer. During the call, charges incurred will be
deducted automatically from Your SkypeOut account.
SKYPEIN SERVICE
The provisions set forth in this Chapter ‘SkypeIn’ shall, in addition to the General
Conditions of these Terms of Service, apply if Skype provides You SkypeIn.
5.2.1.1.9 Article 16 ALLOCATION OF SKYPE-IN NUMBERS
16.1 Allocation of SkypeIn number. If you are eligible for a SkypeIn number, it
will be provided to You as soon as reasonably possible after the receipt of Your
request thereto. The SkypeIn number is allocated to You by the SkypeIn number
provider, and distributed by either Skype or SkypeIn number provider. In certain
jurisdictions You may need to enter into a separate agreement for the SkypeIn with
the respective SkypeIn number provider.
16.2 No transfer of (property) rights. You acknowledge and understand that the
allocation and distribution of the SkypeIn number does not constitute any transfer
of any property or other rights with regard to the numbers.
16.3 No guarantee. If permitted in Your jurisdiction, Skype shall endeavor to distribute
the requested SkypeIn number and enable You to be reached by PSTN Users
in Your SkypeIn number. However, Skype cannot guarantee that the requested
telephone numbers can be allocated or distributed to You or that You can make use
of SkypeIn.
16.4 Refuse, change or terminate SkypeIn numbers. Skype is entitled, without
any liability, to refuse, change or terminate any SkypeIn number at any time. In
particular, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Skype reserves the right
to immediately withdraw the SkypeIn number should You not comply with the
provisions inserted in this Agreement, the instructions given by Skype and/or its
partners, and the requirements of the relevant national number plan.
16.5 Change of the SkypeIn number. In the event that Skype changes the SkypeIn
number that has been allocated to You by Skype, Skype will send a notification
by e-mail, stating the effective date of the change and Your new SkypeIn number.
If You do not wish to accept this new number, You are entitled to terminate Your
SkypeIn number, in writing or by e-mail to [email protected], with effect from the
date on which the new SkypeIn number is allocated to You. Skype will not be liable
for any damages resulting from the change of SkypeIn number.
