Applying Power to the Drive

6. Apply AC power and control voltages to the drive. Examine the Power

(PWR) LED.

Steady Green
Power has been applied to the drive and no faults are present.

7. Examine the Status (STS) LED. Verify that it is flashing green. If it is not

in this state, check the following possible causes and take the necessary
corrective action.

Flashing Yellow
A run inhibit exists in the drive. Refer to

Table 4.B on page 4-3

to correct

the problem.

Flashing Red
A fault has occurred. Refer to

Fault Descriptions on page 4-4

for drive faults

and actions to correct the problem.

If any digital input is configured to Stop – CF (CF = Clear Fault) or Enable,
verify that signals are present or the drive will not start. Refer to

Table 4.B

on page 4-3

for a list of potential digital input conflicts.

If a fault code appears, refer to

Fault Descriptions on page 4-4

.

If the STS LED is not flashing green at this point, refer to the Status
Indicators descriptions in

Table 4.A on page 4-2

.
