Overview

The purpose of this manual is to provide you with the basic information
needed to install, start-up and troubleshoot the PowerFlex

®

700S

Adjustable Frequency AC Drive, Frames 1-6. Refer to PFLEX-IN006 for
information on installing, starting and troubleshooting the PowerFlex 700S
and 700H Adjustable Frequency Drives for Frames 9 - 11.

Who Should Use This
Manual

This manual is intended for qualified personnel. You must be able to
program and operate Adjustable Frequency AC Drive devices. In addition,
you must have an understanding of the parameter settings and functions.
You must also understand programmable controllers for the PowerFlex
700S with DriveLogix.

What Is Not In This Manual

Since this User Manual is designed to provide only basic start-up
information for Frames 1 - 6, the following topics have not been included:

• Spare parts information

• Installation instructions for frames 9 - 11
