Testing Your Axes
To test your axes:
1. Verify the load was removed from each axis.
2. Right-click on an axis in your Motion Group folder in the explorer
window and select Axis Properties. The Axis Properties window
appears.
3. Select the Hookup tab.
4. Select 2.0 as the number of revolutions for the test (or another
number more appropriate for your application).
This Test: Performs this Test:
Test Marker
Verifies marker detection capability
as you manually rotate the motor
shaft.
Test Feedback
Verifies feedback connections are
wired correctly as you manually
rotate the motor shaft.
Test Command &
Feedback
Verifies motor power and feedback
connections are wired correctly as
you command the motor to rotate.
Also, allows you to define polarity.
