PLAYING BÄCK THE HDD OR CD
Follow Ihe procedure below to carry out basic playback operations. This imil also provides various useful functions for playback. For
details, refer to 'TISEFUL PLAYBACK OPERATIONS” (P.20-23).

To start playback
To skip tracks
Alter selecting a group or truck (P.15), press

To stop playback
Press □.
Memo:
If you press t* */DD after playback is stopped by pressing □, the unit
automatically starts playback from the begitniing of the track that
has been stopped (Resume Pkiy). To cancel the Resume Play
feature, press □ w'hile playback is stopped. In this case, Ihe unit
starts playback from the beginning of the firsl track recorded on it
disc (or an album) or a CD,
To stop playback temporarily (Pause)

To fast-rewind or fast-forward
To fast-rewind, press and hold KK1/<K] on the remtrte control)
during playback. To fast-forw'ard, press and hold

the remote control) during playback. To reltirn to normal playback,
release the button.
Memo
• You can also use the search feature w'hile playback pauses. In this
case, the unit does not oulput any sounds while searching.
• Neither search nor pause is possible at the interval adrled by
“Tr. Interval" in the album edit menu (P.57).
To skip to beginning of the current track, press

To skip to a next track, press oo/toi (►►t on the remote control).

• You can also skip a track by rotating MULTI JOG knob (pressing
+/- or the cursor buttons on the remote control) wirile the unil is
in the track mode (P. 15).
• You can also directly select a track number by pressing alphabeti-
cal/numerical buttons.
To skip groups
To skip to a previous group, press GROUP SKIP on ihe remole
control.
To skip to a next group, press GROUP SKIP ► on the remote
control.
