COPYING FROM THE HDD ONTO A CD-R/CD-RW DISC
■ Setting the CDR copy mode
In Ihe CDR copy mode, you can specify the numher of tracks to be copied on the HDD or enable/disable the ;iuto-finali/,atioii feattire.
Initial setting: All Synchro

1 a Press MODE while this unit is in the CDR copy
standby mode (P.38, 40).

Rotate the MULTI JOG knob (press +/-, a or ▼ on the
remote controi) to seiect the CDR copy mode.
Choose one of the modes listed below.
All Synchro (All-synchronized copying mode)
This mode copies all of the material from a single audio source
at the same time as the source programs are being played.
Track markers are automatically placed between the tracks
being recorded.
Full Auto (Full auto-synchronized copying mode)
This mode automatically performs finali/ation tifter all
synchronized copying is complete. A CD-R disc can be played
as a CD as soon as finalization has been completed.
CD TEXT is copied only when selecting “Full Auto” in Ihe
CDR copy mode for a new CD-R or CD-RW disc.
Multi Synchro (Multi-synchronized copying mode)
This mode copies the set number of tracks at Ihe same lime as
the source prtrgrams are being played. The numher of tracks to
be recorded cait be set in the range of 1 to 99 tnicks. This mode
is convenient to record a mix of trticks from different sources.
3i Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote
control) to confirm the CDR copy mode selected.
If “All Synchro” or “Full Auto” is confirmed, this unit returits
to the CDR copy slaiidby mode.
If “Multi Synchro” is confirmed, the Ibllowing message
iippears on the display. Go to step 4.

Rotate the MULTI JOG knob (press +/-, a or ▼ on the
remote control) to select the number of tracks.
The number can be selected iit the I to 99 tracks range.
5i Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote
control) to confirm the number selected.
This unit returns to Ihe CDR copy standby mode (P..48. 40).
6a Rotate the MULTI JOG knob (press +/-, a
or ▼ on the
remote control) to select the group and track to start
copy from.
While the GROUP indicator lights, you can select a group, aitd
while Ihe TRACK indictitor lights, you can select a tr:ick. For
details, refer to “SELECTING THE GROUP OR TRACK
MODE” (P.I.S).
To start copying all tracks from a group, follow step 3 in
“Copying all tracks in a group to a disc” (P.38).
To start copying selected tracks from the HDD, follow
step 3 in “Copying selected tracks on the HDD” (P.40).
