XM Satellite Radio tuning
Before performing the following operation!^, !^eiihe operation

All Channel Search mode

repeatedly to select “ALL CH SEARCH” or
“CAT SEARCH”.
■ You can search for a channel quickly by pressing and
holding @)PRESET/TUNING/CH <1/0 (or
®PRESET/CH A / V ) .
■ To display the XM Radio ID number displayed in the front
panel display, select channel ”(r.
■ Category Search mode

MODE) repeatedly to select “CAT SEARCH”.

repeatedly to change the channel category.

You can search for a channel quickly by pressing and
holding (DPRESET/TUNING/CH < /> on the from
panel (or ©PRESET/CH A / V on the remote cttnlrol).
■ Preset Search mode
Prior to selecting a preset channel in the Preset Search
mode, you must preset XM Satellite Radio channels. For
details, see “Setting the XM Satellite Radio preset
channels” on page 56.

The initial factory setting of all preset channels (A I to E8) is

Press the numeric buttons (®) to enter the
desired three-digit channel number.
For example, to enter the number 123, press the
numeric buttons (®) as shown below.

To enter a one-digit or tw'o-digit channel ntimber, press the
iiumeric buttons (®) on the remote eontrol and then press
@ENT to confirm the input number.
Instead of pressing (M)ENT to tune into the channel
immediately, you can wail a few seconds until this unit
confirms the entered channel number.
If no button is pressed within a few seconds after you enter
a one-digit or two-digit number, this unit automatically
confirms the entered channel number.
Pressing a button other than the numeric buttons (®) or
@ENT cancels the Direct Number Access mode
procedure.
