If the audio at the Tail point of the current file is overwritten by the Paste operation, then the Tail
point of the current file will be moved to the end of the audio in the current file. This is shown in the
illustration below.

Use the following steps to paste a segment at the in-point.

1. Ensure that the desired source file exists.

2. Open the desired file to access its Transport Screen.

3. Enter the desired Edit-In point — the location where the paste will be made.

4. On the Transport Screen, press MENU.

5. On the Transport menu, select item 7, PASTE AT EDIT-IN. The Paste menu will appear

as shown below.
