H USING SILENCE COMPRESSION
VOICE ACTIVÀTED (SCVA) RECORDING
In order to iiTiprove perfdrrriarice in long recordings,
this recorder is equipped with á voice activated re-
cording (calied
yCVA bÿ Olympus) function plus a
new silence compression function that allows longer
recordings to be made with the same memory ca­
pacity.' • ■
® set the SCVA switch i© to ON and press the
record (REC) button to start voice activated re-
: cording and silëncé compression recording.
CD When the sound of à voice enters the biiilt-in mi­
crophone ©, recording will Start automatically.
; When the voice inpLit stops for 3 sec., recording
will stop. Thé LED will light When recording be­
gins and will blink during standby.; : i
(3) The recording start level can be adjusted with the
SET( A )/SEL(v ) button while SCVA recording
is activated. Adjust to á volume between 1 and
30 to match thé recording environment. Be cer-:
tain to perform several test recordings.

wurde dieser Recorder neben der sprachgesteuerten
Aufnahmestartfunktion (bei Olympus VCVA genannt) mit
einer
neuen Stummpassagen-Komprimierung
ausgestattet, die bei gleicher Speicherkapazität längere
Aufnahmen ermöglicht.
® Stellen Sie den Schalter SCVA © auf ON, und
drücken Sie die Aufnährnetaste (REC), um die
;Sprachg6St6uerte Aufriahmestartfunktion und die
Stummpassagen-Komprimierung zu aktivieren. :
@ Die Aüfnähme wird automatisch gestartet, sobald die ■
Schallwelien einer Stimme auf das eingebaute
Mikrofon © treffen; Wenn 3 Sekunden lang keine
: Spracheingabe erfolgt, wird die Aufnahme gestoppt.:
