3. Accidenta! erasure prevention setting
(D When the MENU button is pressed three times
with the recorderstopped, “U-^LOCK” wiil be dis-
piayed On the LCD panei. This indicates that the
message is not set for accidentai erasure pre­
vention.
CD When the SEL button is pressed, “LOCK” and
the iock mark [ ¿1 i wiii light. And the message
: wiii be set for accidentai erasure prevention.
(D Aiso, ifthe SEL button is pressed while the char­
acters LOCK and the [ Bi ] reark are lighted, the
characters will change to U-LOCK and the mes­
sage that accidental erasure prevention is set will
be canceled.
3. Réglage de prévention contre les

l’enregistreur est à l’arrêt, “Ü-LOCK” est affiché sur

© Quand la touche SEL est pressée, “LOCK” et lé
symbole de verrouillage [ â ] apparaissent, lé mes­
sage est : régîé pour la prévention des
enregistrements accidentels.
@ Si la touche SEL est pressée pendant que “LOCK”
et le symbole de verrouiliage [ â ] sont affichés,
l'affichage de “U-LOCK" change. Si ia touche SET
est alors pressée, le réglage de prévention contre
: : les enregistrements accidentels est annulé. :
3. Löschschutz-Einsteilung
® Wird die Taste MENU im Stoppzustand des Record-
; ers dreimal gedrückt, erscheint die Meldung "U-
LOGK” aut dem Display. Dies bedeutet, daß der
: Löschschutz für das Diktat deaktiviert ist,
® Wird dieTaste SEL gedrückt, erscheint die Meldung
“LOCK”, Lind das Schloßsymbol [ö] wird angezeigt.
Der Lösbhschutz wird für das betreffende Diktat
aktiviert.
@ Wird die Taste SEL gedrückt, während die Anzeige
LOCK und das Symbol [ ö l sichtbar sind, wechselt
■ die Anzeige auf U-LOCK, und die Meldung, daß der
Löschschutz aktiviert ist, wird aufgehoben.
H USING HOLD (HOLD) |
Settingthe H old switch ® td ON holds the current I
mode and disables the operation buttons of this re- ]
corder. This function Is convenient when carrying a
briefcase or a pocket because the operation buttons L
become disabled even if accidéntially pressëd. Set : [
the HOLD switch to ON when using the optional foot f
switch for remote control.

* if an externa! microphone is plugged into the mi- !
crophone (MIC) jack © while the recorder is i
slopped in the hold mode, the LCD will switch from : '
the current date and time mode to the normal dis- I
piay. The hold rnode Will contimjé.
B TRANSPORT (HOLD)
Régler le commutateur HOLD © sur la position HOLD,
bloque le mode courant et rend inopérant les touches
: de l’enregistreur. Cette fonction est pratique lors du trans­
port de l’appareil dans un attache-case, ètc. Régiez le
commutateur HOLD sur la position ON lors de t’utilisation
du commutateur à pédalé (en option) pour commande
à distance.

* Si un microphone extérieur est branché sur la prise

R SPERRFUNKTION (HOLD)

funktionsunfähig gemacht. Diese Funktion verhindert
eine ungewoilte TaStenbetätigurig, wenn der Recorder
z.B. m einer Aktentasche transportiert wird. Stellen Sie
den Schalter HOLD auf ON, wenn Sie den Recorder
' über den gesondert erhältlichen Fußschalter bedienen.
Hinweis:
: * Wird ein éktérnës Mikrofon an die Mikrofonbuchse
(MIC)©ängescHiossen, während sich der Recorder
bei aktivierter Sperrfunktion im Stoppzustand befindet,
schaltet das Display von der Anzeige des aktuellen
Datums und der Uhrzeit auf die normale Anzeige
' zurück.Die Sperrfunkiion bleibt weiterhin aktiviert. :
