8.5. Connection to the Multi-Switcher

• Match the Multi-Switcher's camera input terminal number with the camera's address number.
• The C-RM700's switcher settings need to be changed depending on the multi-switcher to be connected.

(Refer to

p. 29

, "Switchers.")

• To perform control using an alarm input, be sure to set to "ALARM RECEIVE: SLAVE" in the "REC/ALARM"

setting on the Multi switcher's menu screen. For details, refer to the instruction manual enclosed with the
Multi-switcher.

• Using the each camera's alarm input allows the sensors to be connected for each individual camera.

Number of connectable sensors differs depending on the type of camera. To expand the alarm input,
connect the C-AL80 Alarm Input Unit to this unit.

Notes
• Never use the Multi-switcher's alarm input terminals, as this could lead to unit malfunction.
• When connecting the C-AL80 Alarm Input Unit to this unit, be sure to set the C-AL80's Mode Selection

Switch "3" to "REMOTE OFF" position.

• To switch the display to the fixed camera's images when an alarm signal is received, connect an Alarm Input

Unit to this unit. Also, set the position number of the fixed camera to be switched to when an alarm signal is
received to "0" in this unit's abbreviation number setting.

• The Alarm Input Unit uses the abbreviation numbers to perform alarm activation. For details, refer to

p. 44

,

"Abbreviation" and instruction manual enclosed with the Alarm Input Unit.
