open. The E-Stop contact connections are located on the terminal block of the
relay output board for outputs 1 through 8. This board is mounted on the top of
the Logic Unit.

5.

The RUN input must be wired across one solenoid of the dual air valve. Machine
motion occurs when the dual air valve is energized. The RUN input connections
are terminals #34 and #35 located on the large 20 circuit plug-in terminal block of
the Logic Unit. These connections are shown in Figure 26. The System 2500 PLS
will not operate properly if these connections are not made.

6.

Connect all equipment to be controlled by the PLS relays (i.e. air blowoff solenoid
valve, scrap chopper) to the corresponding terminals for those relays.

WARNING! DO NOT WIRE ANY RELAY TO PROVIDE THE PRIMARY
INPUT SIGNALS TO A PRESS CONTROL. THE SYSTEM 2500 IS NOT
TO BE USED IN APPLICATIONS REQUIRING CONTROL
RELIABILITY.
