protection inputs still unsatisfied, this error will be generated and the unsatisfied
die protection inputs will be listed so the operator can investigate the problem.
215 AUTO SS INFORMATION LOST - MUST RE-ENTER ALL AUTO SS TIME
LIMITS
A check of the internal memory of the System 2500 has indicated invalid
information for the Automatic Single Stroke delay times. The operator must re-
enter the values for Minimum Delay Time, First Stroke Delay Time, and
Maximum Delay Time as described in Sections 2.8.4.5, 2.8.4.6, and 2.8.4.7 of the
manual.
217 AUTO SS CANNOT BE ENABLED WHEN DIE PROTECTION IS
BYPASSED
The Automatic Single Stroke function cannot be used when die protection is
bypassed (see Section 2.8.4.1 of the manual). When the Auto Single Stroke Setup
button is pressed (enabling the System 2500 AUTO SS ENABLE input) an error
is generated if die protection is bypassed. The operator must turn die protection
'on', or run the machine in another mode besides Auto Single Stroke.
220 NO ON/OFF SETPOINTS ALLOWED ON PLS OUTPUTS 7 AND 8 WHEN
AUTO SS USED
This error will occur if Auto Single Stroke has been turned ON internally in the
System 2500, and a setup is recalled from backup memory which has on/off
setpoints programmed for PLS output 7 or 8. This is not allowed since the System
2500 takes over operation of PLS outputs 7 and 8 when Auto SS is used. This
error can be cleared in one of these ways:
C If Auto SS will not be used the operator can turn off the Auto SS
internal software switch.
C If Auto SS must be used, the operator may temporarily turn off the
internal Auto SS switch, erase all setpoints programmed on PLS
channels 7 and 8, and then turn Auto SS back on.
