Setting the Envelope Feeder
Envelope Feeder E feeds the Outer Envelope for the inserting job
being run.
The Mail Piece Icon Tree for the Job Definition being run will show
if the feeder needs to be loaded and the envelope orientation. If you
need help understanding the envelope icons, refer to page 1-12 of
this guide.
1. Press the Envelope
Feeder loading switch to
lower the feeder tray ready
for loading.
2. Adjust the side guides to
the width of the envelopes
being fed using the Side
Guide Adjustment Knob,
then back off 1/4 of a turn.
This will set the correct
clearance between the
guides and envelopes.
3. Take the stack of
envelopes and fan it
to ensure individual
envelopes are not stuck
together.
