① Check clogging of air filter element.
② Check engine oil level.
③ Check V-belt tension.
④ Check coolant level.
⑤ Check condensation in water sedimenter.
⑥ Check fuel.
⑦ Drain fuel tank.
Check wiring of each part.
5.1.2 Check Engine Oil Level
Unit should be on level ground before checking oil level.
When you check oil level after you have once started operation, wait 10 to 20 minutes after
stopping engine, before checking.
(Procedure)
① Pull out the engine oil dipstick and wipe it with a clean
cloth.
② Re-insert the dipstick fully and pull it out again. If the
dipstick shows the oil level between upper and lower
limits, it is normal.
③ When the oil level is below its lower limit, add engine oil.

While checking oil level, check also for contamination. If the oil is found dirty,
contaminated, or should it be changed according to the periodic inspection list, change the
oil. (See 6.4.1)
