The result is that the dynamics portion of the processor is presented with clean, dynamic audio which can
withstand the rigors of normal processing.
There is another significant advantage that Undo brings to the table for streaming: The resulting audio is
inherently “encoder friendly”. Because the de-clipper portion removes distortion, the encoder can spend
its limited bits encoding real audio rather than distortion. And because the multiband expander portion
adds short term dynamics, it gives the encoder more flexibility to mask encoding artifacts.
