The security function can be canceled when the security code that has been recorded with the
deck is entered and verified.
Canceling the security function can be done by entering the security code into the unit, or by
using the “Memory Stick Duo”.
Canceling the security function by entering the security code

for less than 1 second.

A security code is entered by
touching switches.
● Enter a four-digit security code using
digits 0 to 9, A to F.
Press and hold

● If a security code is entered and the
unit verifies that it is correct, the
security function will be canceled.
