By default, the configuration files are stored at the following location:
c: Program Files\Extron\MediaLink

. This is where the configuration

program looks for these files when you click Next. If the configuration file
you want is stored elsewhere, click the Browse button, near the lower-right
corner of the screen, and use the Browse For Folder screen to locate the file (it
must have a .mlk extension). When you find the file, click on it, then click
OK

. The path to the selected configuration is displayed in the field at the

bottom of the screen.

On the Upload Configuration screen, click the Upload button to begin the
process of loading your new configuration to the MLC.

If your MLC already has a configuration loaded, the following prompt
appears:

Overwrite prompt

Click Yes if you want your new configuration to replace the existing
one.

If you click No, another prompt is displayed, reminding you that you
have elected to exit the wizard and start the Windows-based
configuration software. It asks you if you want to save the
configuration you just selected.



If you click Yes, a Save As... window opens. Save the
configuration to the desired location.



If you click No, the wizard closes without uploading the
configuration.

If you did not exit the wizard, the configuration you created is
uploaded to the MLC. When the upload is finished, the screen
displays the message “Upload Complete.”

If you want to upload this configuration to another MLC, click Upload
again. You are prompted to detach the RS-232 cable from the currently
connected MLC, and to attach the cable to the next MLC to which you want
to upload the same configuration. After you have done this, click OK on
the prompt window. The wizard uploads the configuration to the next
MLC.

If you do not want to upload the configuration to another MLC, skip to
step 9.

When finished uploading the configuration, click Next. The Finish screen
is displayed.
