The Internal Secondary Battery (GT10)

Internal GT10 data is backed up in the following ways:

Screen data
GT10 configuration data

Stored in the F–ROM. (No battery backup required.)

Hold PLC Device data

Stored in the SRAM. (Backed up by the internal secondary

Clock data
GT internal device hold data

battery, which is charged when power is supplied to the GT10.)

The No. 1 operation mode setting switch on the back of the GT10 is used to specify
whether or not the contents of the SRAM are backed up.

In order to prevent excessive discharging of the internal secondary battery when the unit is
shipped from the factory, the No. 1 operation mode setting switch is set to the “OFF” position.

Before turning on the power supply, always set the No. 1 operation mode setting
switch on the back of the GT10 to the “ON” position.
In order to back up the various types of data stored in the SRAM, as described above,
the No. 1 operation mode setting switch on the back of the GT10 should always be set
to the “ON” position before turning on the power supply.

Secondary battery performance, when operating at a normal temperature of 25

normal humidity of 65% RH, and a voltage of 24V DC, is as follows:
