Terms you should know

Auto Hide

This feature allows only those features that are available to you to appear
in the display. Availability of features depends on the state of the handset,
and administrator settings.

Auto Login

Any system maintenance activity, such as a firmware upgrade, results
in you forcibly logs you out of the system. By enabling the Auto Login
feature, you are automatically logged into the IP Client Manager after the
terminal is available again.

CICM

The Centrex IP Client Manager (CICM) product delivers Centrex
capabilities uses VoIP technology to connect Nortel IP Phone WLAN
Handset 2210 Series and WLAN Handset 6100 Series wireless handset
users to an IP network. CICM provides the interface between the Centrex
feature set and an IP network.

CICM feature menu

The CICM system provides additional features services to Nortel IP Phone
WLAN Handset 2210 Series and WLAN Handset 6100 Series wireless
handsets. These features are assigned by the CICM system administrator.

Dialpad

The dialpad is comprised of numbered keys 0 through 9, *, and #. Use the
dialpad to select menu items and enter text and telephone numbers.

Directory Number (DN)

A telephone number from one to seven digits in length. Also known as an
extension number.

Display

The liquid crystal display (LCD) on the handset.
