Logging on
Follow these steps to log on. You must be logged onto the system to make
or receive calls.
If you are unsure how to use the dialpad to enter text, see
before starting this procedure.
Prerequisites
You must be logged out.
Procedure Steps

Press the Power on/Start call key.
The handset changes to the standby state.

If you have Selective Gateway Login Feature configured on your
system, a screen appears where you can select a gateway.
Press the down arrow to select a gateway (a check mark
indicates the current selection).

Press Ok.
The Login screen appears.

Use keys on the dialpad to enter your user name.
If your user name is longer than 19 characters, the characters
scroll to the left and an ellipsis appears to the left of the User
name field.
If you make a mistake entering your user name, press Clear and
start again.

Press Ok.
The password screen appears.

Use the dialpad to enter your password. For security, the system
displays your password as asterisks.
