NAVIGATION MAP PAGE

Displaying traffic on the Navigation Map:

1)

On the Navigation Map, press the MENU Key.

2)

With ‘Map Setup’ selected (Figure 6-50), press the ENT Key.

3)

Turn the small FMS Knob to display the group selection window. Turn the small FMS Knob to select ‘Traffic’

(Figure 6-51), and press the

ENT Key.

4)

Turn the large FMS Knob to highlight and move between the product selections.

5)

When an item is highlighted, turn the small FMS Knob to select the option.

6)

Press the ENT Key.

7)

Press the

FMS

Knob to return to the Navigation Map Page.

The following options are available (Figure 6-51):

• TRAFFIC – Turns the display of traffic data on or off

• TRAFFIC MODE – Selects the traffic mode for display on the Navigation Map. Select from:

• All Traffic - Displays all traffic

• TA/PA - Displays Traffic Alerts and Proximity Advisories

• TA ONLY - Displays Traffic Alerts only

• TRAFFIC SMBL – Selects the maximum range at which traffic symbols are shown on the Navigation Map

(from 500 ft to 300 nm)

• TRAFFIC LBL – Selects the maximum range at which traffic labels display (from 500 ft to 300 nm, with the

option to disable)
