Configuration of the Modem
The modem must be configured as follows when connecting to Phoenix Contact
controllers:
The interface on the PC must be set as follows:
– 9600 bps
– 8 data bits
– Even parity
– 1 stop bit

ATS0=1 Automatic call acceptance
AT&D0 Ignore DTR signal
AT&K0 No data flow control
ATW0 Only CONNECT message
ATX3 Dummy dialing
AT\N0 No error correction
ATE0 Echo off
AT&W0 Store
