3.0 Installation
Prior to installation verify the following:
• All necessary grounding rods and materials are in place.
• Utility power was run to site in accordance with the NESC (National Electric Safety Code).
• Obtained local safety practices for working with high-voltage systems.
• Gas piping, hardware, supports, and other gas carrying components to the pad location conform
to NFPA standard and local requirements.
Required Tools and Materials:
• Crane to lift enclosure from shipping pallet and place on pad
• Key(s) to enclosure doors
• Digital voltmeter
• Torque wrench with insulated handle and 7/16" socket
• 7/16” box-end wrench
• NO-OX or other suitable corrosion inhibiting agent (NCP-2)
• Silicone sealant GE RTV123 (or equivalent)
• Phillips screwdriver (for pad shear mounting)
• 5/8" socket for removing pallet mounting bolts
• Hard hats
• Utility knife
