7.8 Gas Solenoid Replacement Procedure
Required Tools and Materials:
• Crescent wrench
• Pipe thread compound
• Leak detector compound (soapy water)
Two people are required to perform this procedure. To replace the fuel solenoid, the entire
regulator package must be replaced.
1. Ensure the fuel supply is disconnected from the input regulator.
2. Remove the pre-regulator at the connection to the right of the solenoid.
3. Remove the fl exible hose from the load block.
4. Remove the two mounting screws from the demand regulator.
5. Remove the demand regulator and solenoid assembly from the enclosure.
6. Reinstall new equipment in reverse order.
7. Check all new connections for leaks.
