2. Click the Edit button in the Tracking Number Format window for that
tracking number format. The Edit Tracking Number Format window
appears.
3. If applicable, enter the new bar code length in the Carrier Bar Code
Length field.
4. If applicable, enter the new valid character start position in the Start
position field.
5. If applicable, enter the new valid character end position in the End
position field.
6. Be sure the tracking number format entered in the Tracking Number
Format field matches the valid tracking number range, as set in the
Start position and End position fields. Be sure to follow the tracking
number format symbology (for an example of the symbology, click the
? button to view the Tracking Numbers Help dialog), and then click
OK to save the changes. (Clicking Cancel will cancel the changes.)
Deleting a Carrier’s Tracking Number Format
You are able to delete a carrier’s tracking number format from the Tracking
Number Format window. To delete a tracking number format, refer to the
steps below:
1. From the Carriers window, select the carrier whose tracking number
format you want to delete.
