5. Click the Send button found in the bottom right corner of the form.
6. A dialog box appears telling you to make sure that the handheld is
properly connected and ready to synchronize. Make sure that your
device is connected and that the Package Track application on the
handheld device is fully closed. (If the application is not fully closed,
the data will not be sent to it.) If you are ready to sync the data, click
OK. To cancel sending data to the handheld device, click Cancel.
7. Another dialog box appears, telling you that data is being sent to the
handheld device.
8. The data that is sent to the handheld device overwrites the data that is
currently in the handheld application. A status bar screen appears to
indicate the data that is being sent down to the handheld application for
each data set: tracking number format, carrier, delivery status, location,
user, mailroom, package, package type, recipient, signature, and secu-
rity setting information.
9. After all of the data is sent to the handheld application, the Start screen
automatically closes. Tap Start > Programs > Package Track to open
the Package Track application on the handheld device. The application
contains the newly sent data. The data parameters that you set in the
Send Data tab will be followed by the system each time you sync data
