in the Package Grid area of the screen. Continue receiving any other
packages for this rapid receive session. (If you do not want to add a
package without scanning the tracking number, select No to close
the dialog and return to the Rapid Receive screen. A dialog appears
instructing you to scan your package.)

When you are finished receiving packages for the recipient, you may
edit the packages.

To edit a package in the handheld application, select a package in the
grid area of the screen and tap the Edit button. The Edit Package
screen appears for the selected package. At this screen, you may
assign the carrier, recipient, location, package type, and mailroom
for the package. You are also able to enter a comment about the
package. When you are finished editing the package, tap the ok but-
ton or the Windows CE Close (X) selection to return to the Rapid
Receive screen. Continue editing packages until you are finished.

To “rapid receive” packages for another recipient, repeat steps 3–5.

To exit the Rapid Receive mode, tap the ok button or the Windows CE
Close (X) selection and return to the Main screen.

Editing the Rapid Receive Packages in the Workstation
Application

To quickly assign package information after a “Rapid Receive” session,
consider using the Package Maintenance window in the Package Track
workstation application.

1.

After you finished “Rapid Receiving” packages, perform a data syn-
chronization to send the new package data to the desktop computer.

Next, click Start > Programs > IntelliTrack > DMS > Package
Track SQL
> Package Track SQL workstation to open the Package
Track workstation application.

Click Archive and Maintain Data in the Navigation menu to reach
the Archive and Maintain Data area of the application.

Next, click the Packages button. The Package Maintenance window
appears. The left pane of the window contains a collapsible list of all
the packages received into the application. When viewed by recipient,
