Message Text
in the Email
Notification Write your standard email message within the Text Area of the Edit Noti-
fication Email window. Package Track provides substitution text options
for your message such as recipient name, and packages received for that
recipient. The key at the bottom of this window contains these substitution
text options. They are also found in the table below:
Use these substitution text options to ensure that the intended recipient’s
name and packages, as tracked by the Package Track application, are cor-
rectly inserted into the email notification.

Insertion Text Display in Email Message
%Name% Inserts First Name Last Name in the mes-
sage
%FirstName% Inserts First Name in message
%LastName% Inserts Last Name in message
%Packages% Inserts package information for all pack-
ages that have been received for the
intended recipient into the message. Any
package information recorded in Package
Track (i.e., Package ID, Tracking Number,
Package Type, Package Location) about
this package will be inserted.
Note: This substitution text line will also
insert the web link for the carrier’s tracking
page, if this link is entered
url field in the
carrier’s record.
Note: To add a blank line to your email message, type <ctrl> + <enter>
