Introduction
The IntelliTrack Package Track application integrates with Microsoft Sync
software, and consists of:
• the Package Track Batch Portable Application application;
• the Package Track Workstation Application application.
The Package Track Batch Portable Application is designed to be used
when packages arrive at your facility. With the handheld device and inte-
grated bar code scanner, use Package Track to:
• scan the newly received packages into the application;
• associate the package with a recipient when it arrives at your facility;
• capture an electronic signature of the recipient upon package delivery;
• mark the package as delivered upon delivery.
The Package Track Workstation Application maintains package informa-
tion. Use the workstation application to:
• enter information about recipients, users, carriers, package locations,
package types, and mailrooms;
• set up recipient email notification;
• maintain and archive information; and
• generate package tracking reports.
By using Microsoft Synchronization technology, you are able to transfer
information between the Package Track application on the desktop and the
Package Track application on the handheld through Data Synchronization,
thus keeping your information between them complete and up-to-date.
After you have established data synchronization through Microsoft Syn-
chronization technology, a wireless batch synchronization option is avail-
able for data synchronization.
