TIE, Time Interval Error, is the jitter relative to a recovered or to an ideal clock. When using a PLL to recover the
clock, TIE is the jitter that the PLL did not track. TIE is the basic jitter measurement that is at the beginning of the
process for computing all other jitter parameters. SDA2 can show a track (time aligned trace) of TIE values.
