AutoClear
Bool
If this control is set to True, the pattern analysis will automatically do Clear Sweeps (see
ClearSweeps, below) on every update. The visible result of this is that the DDj Histogram will not
accumulate; it will contain only results from the last sweep. The removal of DDj from the jitter
spectrum depends on the pattern analysis, so AutoClear makes that depend only on the last
acqusition also. The default for this setting is False, which allows information to be accumulated over
multiple sweeps. If acquisitions are short enough that 100 pattern repetitions cannot be observed in
one sweep then it is not advisable to set AutoClear True since by default Pattern Analysis requires
100 patterns before deciding that its results are valid.
Description
AutoFindPattern
Bool
AutoFindPattern makes the pattern analysis look at every sweep to try and identify the pattern. The
first thing it tries is the same pattern previously identified, so this does not take long. The default for
this control is True. When this is True, if the pattern changes the old Pattern Analysis result will
automatically be discarded and a new results derived only from the new pattern.
Description
ClearSweeps
Action
Clear any accumulated result data. Useful for example to restart an average, or parameter statistics.
Description
DDjEdgesToHist
Enum
This control is not revealed on SDA2's graphical user interface. The default setting, Both, means that
all edges are included in the DDj Histogram (see ShowDDjHisto). The other choices select only
positive going or only negative going edges for inclusion in the DDj Histogram.
