Note 3. Maintenance and Repair

• The instrument modification or parts

replacement by other than authorized

representative of Yokogawa Electric

Corporation is prohibited and will void IECEx

Intrinsically safe Certification.

WARNING

The instrument modification or parts replacement

by other than an authorized Representative of

Yokogawa Electric Corporation is prohibited and

will void the certification.

Note 4. Battery Pack

• Use only YOKOGAWA battery pack

F9915MA or F9915NS.

Note 5. Special conditions for Safe Use

• In case the enclosure of the Pressure

Transmitter is made of aluminum, if it

is mounted in an area where the use of

apparatus of equipment protection level Ga

is required, it must be installed such, that,

even in the event of rare incidents, ignition

sources due to impact and friction sparks are

excluded.

• For applications in explosive atmospheres

caused by gases, vapors or mists and

mounted in an area where the use of

apparatus of equipment protection level Ga

is required, electrostatic charges on the non-

metallic parts of the Pressure Transmitter

shall be avoided.

WARNING

• Potential electrostatic charging hazard -

secure distance of 100mm from antenna.

• Take care not to generate mechanical

sparking when access to the instrument and

peripheral devices in a hazardous location.
