Configuring the transmit frequency of LLDP frames
The default transmit frequency is 30 seconds. The valid range is 4 through 180 seconds.
To configure the transmit frequency of LLDP frames, perform the following steps.
1. Issue the <edit-config> RPC to configure the <protocol> node in the
urn:brocade.com:mgmt:brocade-interface namespace.
2. Under the <protocol> node, include the <lldp> node element, which resides in the
urn:brocade.com:mgmt:brocade-lldp namespace.
3. Under the <lldp> node, include the <hello> leaf element, and set its value to the number of
seconds between the transmission of LLDP frames.
The following example sets the transmit frequency to 45 seconds.
