The MAPS/Fabric Watch widgets display on the main Dashboard tab. The Management application
provides the following preconfigured MAPS/Fabric Watch widgets:
• Out of Range Violations widget — Table view of all out of range threshold violations reported by
your SAN devices and Network OS devices.
• Port Health Violations widget — Table view of out of range port health violations.
Out of Range Violations widget
The Out of Range Violations widget displays the number of violations for each MAPS category,
Fabric Watch category, and the number of network objects (such as ports, trunks, switches, and
circuits) for SAN devices with the MAPS violation and Fabric Watch violation based on the selected
fabric and a specified time range.
The Out of Range Violations widget also displays the number of violations for each Fabric Watch
category, and the number of network objects (such as ports, trunks, and switches) for Network OS
devices with the Fabric Watch violation based on the selected fabric and a specified time range.
By default, this widget refreshes every minute. If any violations occur on fabrics in your area of
responsibility (AOR) during the minute refresh time frame, the widget refreshes every 10 seconds.
If you delete, discover, or unmonitor a device, the widget refreshes.

The Out of Range Violations widget includes the following fields and components:
• Widget title — The widget title.
• Widget summary — The color of the worst severity and the number of products with that
severity displays below the widget title.
• Refresh time — The time of the last update for the widget.
• Name — A list of the MAPS and Fabric Watch dashboard categories with an out of range
violation. Click to access additional details for the violations. For more information, refer to
“Viewing additional violations data” on page 279. If there are no violations for a category, the
category does not display. Categories include:
- Fabric Health
- FCIP Health
- FRU Health
- Port Health
- Security Violations
- Switch Resources
- Switch Status Policy
- Traffic Performance
