Using the Ethernet Interface
Background
The following example will show you how to use
the Ethernet interface to access the scope from a
browser and how to setup the scope as a socket
server for remote control using the National
Instruments Measurement and Automation
Explorer (NI MAX) software. When using the
MAX software the scope is setup to communicate
with the software over a specific port.

Panel operation
1. Ensure that your PC and the scope are
connected to the same LAN.
2. Go to Network Connections in the Windows
Control Panel. For example:
Control Panel>Network and Sharing>Manage
Network Connections.
3. Double click on the Local Area Connection icon
that is used by the PC/DSO.
