Item

You can choose which information to display in the LDEV list.

If you click CU, two drop-down lists are displayed. You can select an LDKC from
the drop-down list on the left, and a CU from the drop-down list on the right.

If you click PG, one drop-down list is displayed. You can select the parity group to
display from the drop-down list.

CU or PG

SLPR number and SLPR name.

CLPR number and CLPR name.

CLPR

From the left, the LDKC number, the CU number, and the LDEV number are displayed.

LDKC:CU:LDEV

Emulation type.

For an expanded (LUSE) volume, the emulation type of the each LDEV is displayed.

For a DP-VOL, (0V) might be displayed after the emulation type.

Emulation

LDEV size recognized by a host.

MAX LBA

Volume capacity. Open-system volumes are displayed in gigabyte (GB), mainframe
volume are displayed in cylinder (Cyl). For an expanded (LUSE) volume, the capacity
of the each LDEV is displayed.

Capacity

RAID level.

RAID

Shows the data protection level. The levels can be:

SATA-W/V: Write & Verify method on SATA drives.

SATA-E: Enhancing method on SATA drives.

Standard: Fibre-channel drives, SSD drives, external volumes, or virtual volumes
(V-VOLs).

Protection

The hard disk type of internal volume is displayed as follows:
The blank indicates Fibre Channel drive.
An asterisk (*) indicates an SATA drive.
A dollar sign ($) indicates SSD drive.
A hyphen (-) indicates external volume.

Parity Group

Number of LU paths.

Paths

The attribute set for the volume is displayed as follows:
Pool (X): The volume is set as a pool volume (pool-VOL). X indicates pool ID.
V-VOL: The volume is set as a virtual volume (V-VOL) for XP Snapshot.
TP-VOL: The volume is set as a virtual volume (V-VOL) for XP Thin Provisioning.
Reserved LDEV: The volume is set as a reserved volume of Auto LUN.
JNL Volume: The volume is set as a journal volume.
System Disk: The volume is set as a system disk.
Quorum Disk: The volume is set as a quorum disk.
