Waiting for poll You have set up a document to be
polled from the fax loading tray. No action is required. If you need to
send a fax or make a copy, you can
remove the document temporarily, then
replace it when you are done. Refer to
"Sending a Fax to Another Fax
Machine Upon Request (Being Polled)"
in chapter 4 for more information.
Waiting to dial
(fax number) The HP OfficeJet LX has tried to dial
the displayed fax number, but the phone
line is already in use. It could be in use
by a received fax, because the phone is
ringing, or because your phone is
off-hook. No action is required. The HP OfficeJet
LX will wait until the phone line is free,
then dial the fax number.
