. With a dry brush, remove ink deposits from the cutter groove.

. With the same dry brush, remove ink deposits from the platen surface.

. Use a clean, absorbent lint-free cloth that has been slightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol to wipe
loosened ink deposits from the platen.
NOTE: Isopropyl alcohol is not provided in the Maintenance Kit.
CAUTION: Do not use commercial cleaners or abrasive cleaners. Do not wet the platen
directly, because you will leave too much moisture behind.

. Use the damp cloth to clean the cutter ramp.
