Synchronous Long Distance Remote Copy Disaster Recovery Example

Remote Copy User’s Guide

InForm OS Version 2.3.1

In the example above:

Tasks are started for each group that has already been recovered.

A final synchronization is started from InServC to InServB and from InServC to

InServA to ensure that InServA and InServB have the most recent data.

Groups are then stopped and the primary volumes on InServC are switched to

secondary volumes and secondary volumes on InServA are switched to primary

volumes.

Once completed, InServA resumes its role as the primary storage server and starts

Remote Copy with InServB and InServC.
