1. Launch HyperTerminal from the Start > Programs Start > Programs Start > Programs Start > Programs menu. Open an existing connection or create a new one with the

2. Enable the “ASCII Setup” settings by selecting “ Send line ends with line feeds Send line ends with line feeds Send line ends with line feeds Send line ends with line feeds ”.
(Result: HyperTerminal sends a line return at the end of each line of code.)
3. Enter the CLI password (default is public).
NOTE:
We recommend changing your default passwords immediately. To perform this operation using CLI commands, refer
to Change Passwords .

The CLI commands can be used to access, configure, and manage your WL520 device using Telnet or a terminal emulation
application, such as HyperTerminal. Log into the WL520 unit using Telnet:
1. Go to the DOS command prompt on your computer.
2. Type in telnet <IP Address of the unit>.
3. Enter the CLI password (default is public).
