4. Use the controls to complete the configuration, as described in the following table.

5. Optionally, use the Global Settings controls to set global configuration parameters

for any new servers you add to the Server list.

NOTE: If you add a new server to your network and you do not specify these fields at that time,
the global settings are applied automatically.

6. Click Save to write your settings to memory or click Reset to return the settings to

their previous values.

Modifying Web
Settings

You can modify Management Console Web user interface settings in the
Authentication: Web Settings page.

Control

Description

Add New

TACACS+

Server

Server IP. Type the server IP address in the text box.

Authentication Port. Type the port for the server in the text box.

Authentication Type. Select ASCII or PAP from the drop-down list.

Server Key. Type the server key in the text box.

Timeout. Type the time-out period in the text box.

Retries. Type the number of times you want to allow the user to retry authentication in
the text box. Valid values are 0-5.

Enabled. Select True to enable; select False to disable.

Add Server. Click Add Server to add the

TACACS+

server to the list.

Enable

To enable a

TACACS+

server that has been added to the list, click the check box and

click Enable.

Disable

To disable a

TACACS+

server that has been added to the list, click the check box and

click Disable.

Remove Selected Servers

To remove an

TACACS+

server from the list, click the check box next to the entry and

click Remove Selected Servers.
