2. Use the controls to set HSTCP options, as described in the following table.
3. Click Apply to apply your settings to the running configuration. (Apply your
settings to test a new configuration before committing it to memory.)
4. Click Save to write your settings to memory or click Reset to return the settings to
their previous values.
Control Description
High-Speed TCP Enable High Speed TCP. Type the port number for the MS-SQL server in the text box
and click Add Port. The default is 1433.
LAN Send Buffer Size. Type the send buffer size in the text box to set the buffer size
used to send data out of the LAN. The default value is 81920.
LAN Receive Buffer Size. Type the receive buffer size in the text box to set the buffer
size used to receive data from the LAN. The default value is 32768.
WAN Default Send Buffer Size. Type the send buffer size in the text box to set the
buffer size used to send data out the WAN. The default value is 262140.
WAN Default Receive Buffer Size. Type the receive buffer size in the text box to set
the buffer size used to receive data from the WAN. The default value is 262140.
