Description

Add New Port Label

Label. Type the label name in the text box. The following rules apply:

• Port labels are not case sensitive and can be any string consisting of letters, the

underscore ( _ ), or the hyphen ( - ). There cannot be spaces in port labels.

• The fields in the various rule pages of the Management Console that take a physical

port number also take a port label.

• You should avoid using a number as a port label to avoid confusion.

• Port labels that are used in in-path and other rules, such as QoS, and peering rules

cannot be deleted.

• Port label changes (that is, adding and remove ports inside a label) are applied

immediately by the rules that use the port labels that you have modified.

• To avoid confusion, do not type a number.

Ports. Type a comma-separated list of port numbers.

Add Label. To add a neighbor to the peer list, click Add Peer.

Remove Selected Labels. To remove a label from the port labels list, select it and click
Remove Selected Labels.
