The following values are defined.

Copy group: specifies a name of copy group. This is equivalent to the dev_group of
HORCM_DEV and HORCM_LDEV parameters.

RAID Manager operates by using the information defined here.

ldev_group: Specifies a name of device group that the RAID Manager instance reads.

Serial#: Specifies a storage system serial number. For XP7 Storage, set the number to which
300,000 is added to the serial number.

(7) HORCM_INSTP

The HORCM_INSTP parameter uses when specifying a path ID for the link of Continuous Access
Synchronous as well as HORCM_INST parameter. You can specify from 1 to 255 for the path ID.
If you do not specify the Path ID, the behavior is the same as when 'HORCM_INST' is used.

HORCM_INSTP
dev_group ip_address service pathID
VG01 HSTA horcm 1
VG02 HSTA horcm 2

Note: The path ID can be specified at Continuous Access Synchronous/Continuous Access
Journal/Continuous Access Journal Z. However, the path ID cannot be specified at Cnt Ac-J/Cnt
Ac-J Z when connecting XP12000 Disk Array/XP10000 Disk Array or XP24000/XP20000 Disk
Array. The same path ID must be specified between the site of P-VOL and S-VOL because the path
ID is used at the paircreate command.

(8) HORCM_ALLOW_INST

The HORCM_ALLOW_INST parameter is used to restrict the users using the virtual command
device. Allowing IP address and port numbers are as follows.

For IPv4

HORCM_ALLOW_INST
#ip_address service
158.214.135.113 34000
158.214.135.114 34000

For IPv6

HORCM_ALLOW_INST
#ip_address service
fe80::209:6bff:febe:3c17 34000

Note: If RAID Manager clients not defined HORCM_ALLOW_INST, HORCM instance starting up
is rejected by SCSI check condition (SKEY=0x05, ASX=0xfe) and RAID Manager cannot be started
up.

Configuration definition for cascading volume pairs

The RAID Manager software (HORCM) is capable of keeping track of up to seven pair associations
per LDEV (1 for Continuous Access Synchronous/Cnt Ac-J, 3 for Cnt Ac-J, 3 for Business
Copy/Snapshot, 1 for Snapshot). By this management, RAID Manager can be assigned to seven
groups per actual LU that is described to the configuration definition file.
