Operation of hands-free phoning

Making a call by voice dialing

You can make a voice call using the voice
recognition function of the cell-phone.

Enter Voice tag mode
Press the [VOL] button for at least 1 second.
“Voice Tag” is displayed.

Have the cell-phone recognize your spoken
word
Pronounce the name registered in the cell-
phone.
The recognized phone number (name) is displayed.

Exit the Voice tag mode

Press the [VOL] button for at least 1 second.

• If “No Support” is displayed, your cell-phone does not

support the voice recognition function.

• If “No Active device” is displayed, your cell-phone cannot

start voice recognition.

• If your voice cannot be recognized, a message is

displayed. Pressing the Volume knob allows you to retry
voice input.

• Audio sound is not output during voice recognition.

Registering to the Preset Dial Number

Select the phone number you wish to register
Select the phone number with reference to the
following:
- Calling a Number in the Phone Book (page 24)
- Calling a Number in the Call log (page 25)
- Dial a Number (page 25)

Enter Preset Memory mode
Press the [VOL] button for at least 1 second.

Select the preset number to put in the
memory
Turn the [VOL] knob.
Select the preset number.

Determine the preset number to put in the
memory
Press the [VOL] knob for at least 2 seconds.

Exit the Preset Memory mode

Press the [MENU] button.
