Setting the Options
Set the details of PostScript as follows.

Click the PostScript tab.

Click [PostScript Options].

Set each item as required.
– Print PostScript Error Information.
By selecting the check box, error information is printed when a print
error arises.
– Use PostScript Pass-through
When the check box is turned ON, an application supporting the
PostScript (Adobe applications, Quark XPress, etc.) prepares
drawing data so that the original drawing quality can be secured.
However, the function to process the image (N-up, Booklet, etc.)
cannot be used.
When the check box is turned OFF, drawing data is prepared on the
printer driver side. However, when the data is printed with an appli-
cation supporting the PostScript, the drawing quality may be infe-
rior.
